I never realised that a router was a consumable item with an average life expectancy of less than a month.

In other words, the router which was a replacement for the one which fell over last month is also in the process of falling over. Have had very spotty internet access for the last couple of weeks, and for last Thursday / Friday and last night no internet at all.

So I'll probably not be very communicative for the next while. Leave a message if there's anything important and I'll try to log on when I can.

I hope it's still under warranty. Sounds like it didn't even take 30 days to give out this time. {wry look}

It's not paid for yet - and won't be until it actually starts working reliably. And when I get the account for it Questions Will Be Asked.

Good. It sounds like they haven't delivered what they promised yet: a working router. {Lop-sided Smile}

That's just not right! Must be a faulty batch - mind you - they make everything to fall apart these days.

I keep on getting told different theories about what the problem is... everything from Windows problems to line quality. The only answer I haven't been getting is how to fix it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't... is annoying.
