Much clearer thank you. Especially after watching the Target Practice Lady on T.V. saying Oh But My Words Don't Incite People To Violence. I felt the need to shout rude things at the T.V. and it wasn't its fault!

I was also going to include examples of "this is blood libel" and "this is not blood libel", but it seems a number of other people have already picked up on that.

I believe a majority of the Jewish community's reaction is something along the lines of, "Goy, please."

What was ironic that one of the few blogs I read which were prepared to give Palin the benefit of the doubt was Peter David's. That didn't last long.

Whatever one may think of her politics... I simply don't think she has the maturity or judgement necessary for any sort of high office.

Ahem, to quote George Packer, from here: http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/georgepacker/2011/01/tucson-revisited.html

Quote, "Only one side has made the rhetoric of armed revolt against an oppressive tyranny the guiding spirit of its grassroots movement and its midterm campaign. Only one side routinely invokes the Second Amendment as a form of swagger and intimidation, not-so-coyly conflating rights with threats. Only one side’s activists bring guns to democratic political gatherings. Only one side has a popular national TV host who uses his platform to indoctrinate viewers in the conviction that the President is an alien, totalitarian menace to the country. Only one side fills the AM waves with rage and incendiary falsehoods. Only one side has an iconic leader, with a devoted grassroots following, who can’t stop using violent imagery and dividing her countrymen into us and them, real and fake. Any sentient American knows which side that is; to argue otherwise is disingenuous."

I don't actually recall claiming that map as a Palin exclusive in the first place. If these alleged "left-wingers" you speak of also claimed that those gun-sight cross-hairs were "survey marks", then of course my point also applies to them.
