New Zealand Music Month - Day 24

Emma Paki is a singer/songwriter very much in the Shona Laing tradition; but, unlike Laing, she's only had one brief flurry of popular attention in the twenty or so years she's been working in the music business. Both her well-known songs, Greenstone and today's link, System Virtue, appear on her CD "Oxygen of Love"; but the original single recording on this video is a very different (and, in my opinion, much superior) recording to the album version. In comparison with the moody and atmospheric single (and video), the album version just sounds clunky.

Unfortunately, this not being the album version, I have no idea who performed on it, or who played what, other than the indication in the video that Emma Paki sings and plays guitar.
