I first heard a snippet of Horse to Water back some time around 1985 when footage from the band's farewell concerts got played in a one-hour TV special. It was being played in the background while some of the band (those who weren't needed to actually play the song) were acting the fool on stage. Apart from that, it's been a fiendishly difficult song to find in any way, shape or form. Eventually what sounds like an impromptu performance of the song turned up as a bonus track on a re-release of the Frenzy album.
It's a bit of a shame the band never did a proper recording of this song, because it had potential to be a sing-along hit, in the same vein as the Exponents' I'll Say Goodbye. It's not really all that representative of the band's usual output... but then, you could say that about most of the band's usual output anyway.
