|Doctor Who night

So, what's going on tonight? Are they trying to summon a Time Lord or something?
"Do you believe any of this stuff?" "I was there."
"Himself... or herself, a couple of times." Looks like that fan question has finally got itself an answer.
"Outside the universe. Where we've never, ever been." Except last episode. Slight continuity blooper there, is it?
So, now that the Doctor has fixed the Ood's brainball, all of a sudden it's picking up radio signals?
The asteroid talks. Is it related to Ego the Living Planet?
"And tell them you destroyed all the others...?" "I can explain!"
"He's a Time Lord." "That's just what they're called. It doesn't mean he actually knows what he's doing..."
A whole cupboard full of Time Lords? Or just their distress beacons?
"You gave me hope, and then took it away. That's enough to make anyone angry. Who knows what it will do to me?"
"My TARDIS!" "My Doctor!"
... Hang on, is that the cloister bell ringing?
"I really don't know what to do... That's a new feeling." *slap*
"Actually, I feel fine." *thud*
"I'm a madman with a box without a box!"
"You have never been reliable!" "... And you have?"
A bunch of broken TARDIS bits and the Doctor has to bodge together a working TARDIS console out of all of them. It's "Scrapheap Challenge" all over again.
"I wanted to see the universe, so I stole a Time Lord and ran away. You were the only one around."
Old Rory looks like he just walked off the cover of Aqualung. Looks like Autons these days don't last as well as they used to. It seems like only last year that an Auton lasted for a couple of thousand years with barely a scratch...
"Which one's Amy? The pretty one?"
"There aren't any old control rooms. I deleted or remodelled them." "I archived them."
So this particular Ood is the planet's nephew?
... And the old control room is just the Davies version. I was sort of half hoping to see lots of white plastic.
"She's a woman... and she's the TARDIS." "Did you wish really hard?"
"Fear me. I've killed hundreds of Time Lords." "Fear me. I've killed all of them."
And in the end titles: "Ood created by Russell Davies." ... I always thought they were created by whoever wrote "The Impossible Planet".
