New Zealand Music Month - Day Twenty-nine

By 1984, The Clean (see Day Two) had split up, having got tired of being pop stars. Their bass player, Robert Scott, had formed his own band, The Bats, which had released their first EP. Since then he has mastered the art of being in several bands concurrently (at one point, The Clean, The Bats and The Magick Heads were all releasing full-length albums fairly much simaltaneously while Scott was in all of them). While he's away from The Bats, the rest of them borrow someone else's guitarist and call themselves Minisnap. This is still going on.

I am not aware of there being any verified sightings of Mr. Scott actually sleeping.
